The Articles of Association of the Lion & Sun Technology Association

Article 1: Purpose

This association is a specialized, non-profit entity that operates to advance digital freedom in Iran. We operate at the intersection of technology and human rights to ensure that all Iranians can access the digital world without fear or restriction.

Article 2: Four Pillars

Territorial Integrity

Commitment to a united and indivisible Iran.

Secular Democracy

Complete separation of religious institutions from political governance.

Legal Equality

Full protection of individual freedoms and equality of all before the law.

Right to Self-Determination

Supporting the people's right to choose the type of government (republic or monarchy) through a free referendum.

Article 3: Technical Mission

The association shall work in the fields of combating censorship, privacy and anti-surveillance, digital equity, and infrastructure resilience — developing decentralized solutions for a free Iranian digital infrastructure.

Article 4: Membership & Professional Ethics

Eligibility: Members must be technology professionals or researchers who formally commit to the four pillars.

Impartiality: The association remains neutral regarding the outcome of any future referendum and focuses solely on technical preparedness for a free society.

Transparency: All financial resources and projects must be transparent to prevent infiltration by entities opposing the four pillars.

Advocate for and implement encryption and privacy-preserving technologies to protect citizens from state monitoring.
